Parenting is the most important job in the world and yet our children do not come with a user’s manual so we are forced to look for advice on how to handle frustrating situations from loved ones, medical professionals and peers.
Darlene Logan, Occupational Therapist at Encompass, leads a discussion to help parents understand Sensory Processing Disorder, and its implications for their lives, 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Snoqualmie Valley Alliance Church, 36017 S.E. Fish Hatchery Road in Fall City.
Logan is a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, working both in early intervention and pediatric therapy at Encompass. She has been a practicing occupational therapist for over 20 years and loves working with all types of children.
On-site childcare is available for $5 per child; pre-registration is required at http://goencompassnw.org/. For more information about Moms, visit encompassnw.org or find them on Facebook.
