Wright to leave Opstad for spot at new school

Opstad Principal Amy Wright will move to the Snoqualmie Valley School District's new elmentary school for the 2016-17 school year.

Opstad Elementary School principal Amy Wright announced Friday that she would be leaving the North Bend school to become principal at the district’s new elementary school, now under construction and scheduled to open next fall.

The process to hire a new principal for Opstad Elementary will begin in January, Wright said, in a message to Opstad families. She was principal at the school for four years.
