The Washington State Patrol is seeking information on a two-car, hit-and-run collision involving a state patrol vehicle. The collision occurred at about 11:16 a.m. Tuesday, June 2, at the S.R. 18 and Interstate-90 intersection.

A white Saturn passenger car reportedly struck a state trooper’s vehicle wile turning at the intersection. The Saturn had severe front-end damage, but fled the scene westbound on S.R. 18. It was last reported seen on S.R. 18 near Auburn.

The Saturn, which may have previously been maroon in color, was previously reported as driving the wrong way on I-90 before striking the WSP vehicle.  The vehicle was then observed driving the wrong way on SR 18 after the collision. State Patrol detectives are asking anyone that may have information regarding this incident to call Detective Sergeant Stacey Moate at (425) 401-7745 or stacey.moate@wsp.wa.gov.
