Merit Scholars named at CHS

Six seniors at Cedarcrest High School were honored as 2015 National Commended Merit Scholars. They are from left, Ryan Peacock, Mitchell Frimodt, Caitlin Gard, Morgan Walker, Al Knox and Wilhelmina Esary.

The students are among 34,000 students to receive the recognition, for ranking in the top 5 percent of the more than 1.5 million high school students who took the 2013 preliminary SAT test last fall.
