Snoqualmie Parks, Planning applications due Jan. 9

The city of Snoqualmie is seeking new members for vacant positions on citizen boards and commissions. Both the Parks Board and the Planning Commission have openings. Appointments are made by the Snoqualmie Mayor.
The parks board advises the city council on the expansion and operation of city parks, recreational facilities, and programs in the overall recreation comprehensive plan for the city. Seven members serve four-year terms. The board meets on the third Monday of each month, 7 p.m. at Snoqualmie City Hall, 38624 S.E. River Street.
Planning commissioners are involved in long-range planning and land use issues. Each of nine members serves a six-year term. The commission meets the first and third Monday of each month, 7 p.m., also at City Hall.
