An outdoor ice rink is coming to Snoqualmie this season for all ages to enjoy. The rink, a first in Snoqualmie, will be open daily, including holidays, Dec. 14 through 21 in downtown Snoqualmie, and Dec. 23 through Jan. 1 on Snoqualmie Ridge.
“My brothers and I spent winters skating on our pond in New Hampshire during my youth,” said Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson. “This will create memories for a lifetime for the kids and families in the Snoqualmie Valley.”
The synthetic rink will have scheduled open skate times and family times for those with younger children.
“One of the building blocks in a community is to create a space where people are excited to come together,” said Lizzy Billington, CEO of the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to make the Valley an exciting destination all year long.”
