The King County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a hiker who has not been heard from since the morning of Monday, Oct. 6.  The hiker is a 21-year-old Seattle woman who was hiking with her two black and white dogs in the Mason Lake or Ira Springs trail area near Snoqualmie Pass.

At about 7 p.m. on October 7, the King County Sheriff’s Office and its Search and Rescue volunteers were notified about the hiker. She is about 5’10” tall and 120 lbs.  She has brown hair.

Deputies and search and rescue teams began searching for the missing hiker at about 7 a.m. this morning.  As the fog clears, the Sheriff’s Office will also employ its helicopter in the search.

The Sheriff’s Office asks that if anybody remembers seeing the woman and/or her dogs hiking in the last three days to call (206) 296-3311.
