Mount Si distance runner Bailey Scott represents at state championship

Mount Si junior Bailey Scott represented her team in the Washington Interscholastic Athletics Association’s cross country championships at Pasco on Saturday, Nov. 13.

It’s the second state outing for Scott, Mount Si’s sole state qualifier for distance running.

She finished 43rd at state, with a time of 19:53.8.

Scott’s state visit was something of a repeat of her performance last year, where she was also Mount Si’s lone qualifier, finishing 41st at the same Sun Willows Golf Course visit.
