Timber harvest near Snoqualmie mill site to continue through November

The Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Development Company, or WREDCo, is harvesting timber on the east side of 396th Drive Southeast, within unincorporated King County, directly east of the old Weyerhaeuser mill site. The harvest area totals about 144 acres.

The company will replant the area following the harvest in compliance with Washington State Department of Natural Resources Forest Practice Rules.

The harvest operation is approximately 50 percent complete and is expected to continue through November, followed by tree planting in early 2013.
