Fake $50 bill, shoplifting: Snoqualmie Valley police, fire reports

Snoqualmie Police
Monday, Aug. 22
Public Service: At 8:03 p.m., an officer helped a locked-out driver in the 8200 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast by unlocking the door.
Fake $50: At 5:32 p.m., a business owner in the 9000 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast reported receiving a counterfeit bill earlier in the day from a woman. The bill was printed over a $5 bill, so it passed the owner’s marker test, but it was discovered to be counterfeit at the bank. The owner said he’d received two counterfeit $50 bills last week from a man.
Thursday, Aug. 25
Suspicious Events: At 1:13 a.m., an officer on patrol found an unlocked door at Snoqualmie Elementary School and investigated. The building was clear, but the officer then observed several juveniles in Centennial Fields Park and began a foot patrol of the park.
No License: At 12:20 p.m., an officer on patrol on Snoqualmie Parkway at Southeast Swenson Drive contacted a driver whose license was suspended. The woman said she knew her license had expired, but did not know it was suspended for two unpaid tickets as of July.
North Bend Police
Saturday, Aug. 20
Shoplift: At 8 p.m., an officer responded to a business in the 600 block of South Fork Avenue, which had reported a shoplift. According to the store manager, a lone woman entered the store, took something, and ran from the store.
Car Prowl: At 1 a.m., police responded to a theft report in the 400 block of East North Bend Way. A vehicle owner reported items stolen from his car, which had been unlocked.
Friday, Aug. 19
Bike Recovered: At 9:30 a.m. an officer checking the 1200 block of East North Bend Way for transients found a valuable bicycle thrown into some blackberry bushes, and recovered it.

Wednesday, Aug. 24
Breathing problem: At 12:07 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 33-year-old woman with shortness of breath. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car.
Tuesday, Aug. 23
Knee pain: At 6:04 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to a 34-year-old woman complaining of left knee pain. She was evaluated and left at the scene.
Monday, Aug. 22
Head pain: At 5:45 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 26-year-old man with head pain. He was transported to the hospital.
Chest pain: At 2:42 pm., Snoqualmie EMTs responded with Bellevue Paramedics to Merritt Avenue for a 48-year-old woman with chest pain. She was evaluated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Carbon monoxide: At 9:20 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Azalea Way Southeast for a carbon monoxide detector sounding. By using their gas detector, crews determined the home owner’s detector was faulty and needed to be replaced. No gas leak was found.
Sunday, Aug. 21
Passed-out man: At 2:30 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the parking lot of the Snoqualmie Casino for a 70-year-old man who had passed out. He refused treatment and was left at the scene with his wife.
Seizure: At 9:30 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Alpha Street for a teenage boy having a seizure. He was transported to the hospital.
Fall: At 1 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the parking lot of the Salish Lodge for a woman who fell from a walker.
Saturday, Aug. 20
Alarm: At 12:22 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Douglas Avenue Southeast for an automatic fire alarm. The alarm was set off by a malfunction system; it was reset.
Belly pain: At 6:29 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Center Boulevard for a 59-year-old man with abdominal pain. He was transported by paramedics to the hospital for evaluation.
Stroke: At 8:28 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Southeast Sequoia Street for a 66-year-old woman with stroke symptoms. She was transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Friday, Aug. 19
Medical call: At 4:40 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie downtown area for a medical call. One patient was treated and then transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Pain: At 3 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for an elderly woman with abdominal pain.
