Directly east of the Riverview District Offices in Carnation, the new Riverview Learning Center (RLC) provides what’s described as a better teaching and learning environment for the district’s alternative learning experience programs, starting in September. This is the first new building in the district since Cedarcrest High School opened in 1993.
The district holds a grand opening ceremony on 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29. Officials will cut the ribbon on the new building, and a program and tour will follow, with refreshments served.
