21,000 Walk-a-Thon laps raise funds for Fall City Elementary

Students and teachers at Fall City Elementary walked 21,237 laps at the 10th annual school Walk-a-Thon, held Thursday, Sept. 30.

Pledges help the school PTSA toward its goal of $53,000. All proceeds collected through the Walk-a-Thon fund programs including teacher classroom mini-grants, math and reading tutors, assemblies, author visits, art docent, musicals and plays, field trips, safety programs and the fifth grade Seabeck outdoor program.

The PTSA thanks sponsors including Farmhouse Market, the Padilla family, the Snoqualmie Tribe, Imaging Northwest and Kidz Bounce.
