Discussion group to talk Iran, Iraq

The Community Conversations group will discuss Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan at its monthly discussion meeting, 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at the North Bend Library. All are welcome, and there is no charge to attend.

The group airs questions and concerns in a guided conversation, and welcomes all viewpoints.

Plant sale at Senior Center

Snoqualmie Valley Garden Club Annual Plant Sale is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the Mount Si Senior Center, 411 S. Main St., North Bend.

Find a beautiful variety of perennials, annuals, veggies, ground cover, trees, natives and garden books for sale, along with a drawing for a floral garden container for a Mother’s Day gift. Proceeds help provide college scholarships for Mount Si graduates, and also help the Children of the Nations orphanage in Africa.
