SNOQUALMIE VALLEY – The Snoqualmie Valley School District has continued to improve its overall performance on the Washington Assessment of Student Learning (WASL), according to district administrators.
The district’s Board of Educators received a look at the scores from the 2001-2002 school year at its Thursday, Sept. 5, meeting.
The test is administered every year to fourth-, seventh- and 10th-graders across the state.
The district scored higher than the state in every category – reading, math, writing and listening – across all grades. The lone exception was in 10th-grade writing, administrators said.
