Plans unveiled for new Snoqualmie city hall

During last week’s joint meeting between the Snoqualmie City Council and Planning Commission, citizens got a look at the design and materials to be used in the $4.9 million new city headquarters, planned for construction this fall at the site of the former city fire hall at River Street and Maple Avenue.

The goal for the project is to build a city hall while keeping the option of selling it as a commercial building, with retail on the ground floor and offices on the second level, Yoshinobu said.

“Our intent is not to make the new City Hall temporary, but rather to keep as many future retail, commercial and municipal use options open as possible,” Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson said.
