New restrooms to open at depot

On Friday, Oct. 12, Snoqualmie Mayor Matt Larson and Northwest Railway Museum Executive Director Richard Anderson met on the platform of the downtown museum, inking a new agreement that will, for the first time, provide restrooms to the general public in the downtown Snoqualmie historic district.
Currently, Northwest Railway Museum provides restrooms at the Snoqualmie train depot to its visitors, allowing the general public and tourists to use the bathrooms as circumstances allow.
However, a new partnership with the city means the museum will improve and upgrade the restrooms at the train depot and make those restrooms available to the general public rather than just visitors of the museum.
