New life for old Snoqualmie siren?

Historic Snoqual-mie’s characteristic noon siren may still have a place in the downtown’s future after all.
The siren last sounded May 9 at the now-demolished downtown fire hall.
But siren revivalists could be seeing, and possibly hearing, it sooner than they think. The siren and its 6-foot scaffold will be placed atop the Mignone Interiors building in the downtown business block in the next few weeks, and an effort is underway to get a new clock to regulate the siren’s call.
“It’s a little flat down here without it,” said Kristi Wood, principal at Mignone Interiors, an interior decorating and retail business.
