Identified bones bring back history of Green River case

SNOQUALMIE VALLEY – Although North Bend and Snoqualmie have a part in one of the most tragic serial killing sprees in the nation, Valley law enforcement officials said the area didn’t suffer from any sudden fear as a result of the murders.

Six of the 49 victims of the Green River killer were found in the Snoqualmie Valley, most not too far from major roads and neighborhoods. The Valley found itself part of the tragedy early with one of the first Green River victims. The remains of Amina Agisheff, who was last seen in Seattle on July 7, 1982, were found near Highway 18 and Interstate 90 on April 18, 1984.
