SNOQUALMIE – Right after a small party that celebrated the opening of the urgent care facility at the Snoqualmie Valley Hospital on July 27, the first patient arrived.
The tables from the party weren’t even down yet when the clinic’s first patient showed up with an elbow injury from work.
Later, the urgent care staff of the hospital helped treat someone from a car accident that occurred just down the hill from the hospital’s location in Snoqualmie.
That night, the urgent care clinic admitted its first patient; a person who had collapsed from dehydration.
Despite the unfortuate circumstances for the patients, Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Administrator Jeff Lyle couldn’t have been happier.
