Para, a designer and marketer of computer-related accessories and purses, will host a fashion show, “My Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades,” 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at the North Bend Theatre.

The fund-raiser benefits the children of Treehouse, a nonprofit organization that provides developmental opportunities and educational support to foster children. Money collected will assist the Wearhouse program of Treehouse in its ongoing commitment to improve the lives of King County’s foster children.

“My Future’s So Bright, I Gotta Wear Shades” will feature a 1940s-2002 wearables theme, with period costumes and jewelry and similar styles of today to be modeled on the runway. A $15 ticket covers the fashion show as a donation to Treehouse.

Tickets for the fashion show may be purchased in advance online at www.tree

house4kids.org, or by calling (206) 963-9500.

Retailers that are co-sponsors include: Cache, BCBG, Starbucks, Kirkland Beauty School, MAC, iClick, Gravity Communications, Country Classic Log and Timber House and select Factory Stores at North Bend merchants.

Each year Treehouse serves more than 2,800 foster children in King County. There are currently 15,000 foster children in King County and 577,000 throughout the United States.
