Aging Snoqualmie fire engine to be replaced

SNOQUALMIE – The Snoqualmie Department of Public Safety-Fire Division will be getting a much-needed new fire engine to replace one of its older models.

The new fire engine, an “Eagle” model built by American LaFrance of Portland, will cost $385,228.83 and should be shipped to the city by May 2003.

Deputy Fire Chief Bob Rowe will be in Wyoming this week to speak with engineers on how to outfit the new fire engine.
