Saturday, Oct. 8

Burglary: At 10:54 a.m., a theft of tool boxes and a mountain bike from Maple Avenue S.E., Snoqualmie was reported to police.

Noise complaint: At 10:34 p.m., police were called to report of a noisy party at Mount Si Golf Course. When police arrived there was nobody at the course and the officers could not hear anything.

Sunday, Oct. 9

Suspicious: At 5:23 p.m., police responded to Boalch Avenue S.E., North Bend, after receiving a report of a driver throwing a bottle at a biker. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Monday, Oct. 10

Suspicious: At 2:52 p.m., police were called to report a lot of activity on the 8000 block of Railroad Avenue S.E., Snoqualmie. When police arrived they discovered people waiting for the bus.

Theft: At 7:18 p.m., a shoplifting attempt was reported to police from the 400 block of S.W. Mount Si Boulevard, North Bend. The suspect was a known to police and had warrants out for his arrest. Police were unable to locate the subject, but officers are investigating and charges were filed.

Tuesday, Oct. 11

Disturbance: At 2:46 p.m., police were called to help remove a woman from an office on the 900 block of E. North Bend Way, North Bend. She was loudly talking on the phone in the lobby and causing a disturbance in the office. When asked to leave she refused. Police escorted her to a local park.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

Suspicious: At 7:32 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of East McClellan Street, North Bend to report a man making inappropriate comments to the caller’s wife. Police determined the subject wasn’t intoxicated, but was voluntarily transported to a hospital for pain and mental health complaints.

Thursday, Oct. 13

Malicious mischief: At 10:14 a.m., police received a call reporting someone wrote in permanent marker on vehicles on Stone Creek Circle S.W., North Bend.

Malicious mischief: At 5:20 p.m., two juveniles painting graffiti on a tunnel under the Snoqualmie Parkway were reported to police. The caller stood by the juveniles’ bikes and did not let them leave until the police arrived and detained the two subjects.

Friday, Oct. 14

Suspicious: At 2:06 p.m., a 12-year-old girl on Indian Plum St., Snoqualmie, called police to report a man who tried to open her locked front door and then walked to her neighbor’s house and tried to open the door there. Police contacted the man, who said he was a solicitor, and told him to stop.

Friday, Oct. 7

Smoke: At 6:30 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Swenson Park for a report of smoke in the area. The caller met the crew at the location and explained where he’d seen smoke, in a wooded area. The smoke had dissipated but there was still an odor in the air. The crew investigated the area of the trail to the south of the park. They located a young man sitting by a homemade campfire and using notebook paper to keep his fire going along with wet wood and bark. The crew advised him of the burning rules and open-container laws within city limits. He agreed to assist in putting the fire out.

Saturday, Oct. 8

Alarm: At 10:36 a.m., a neighbor reported that the automatic fire alarm was going off in a home on Silent Creek Avenue S.E. The caller said the alarms had been sounding for more than 20 minutes but there was no sign of fire. Also, there were cars in the driveway but no one answered the door. The crew arrived to find the home’s neighbors outside looking at the house, but there were no obvious signs of fire. They investigated the cause, checking all the smoke detectors inside, and found two that appeared to be faulty. They removed the faulty detectors and left a note for the residents to call the department when they returned.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

Gas odor: At 6:36 p.m., a caller reported a gas odor in a house on Elderberry Avenue S.E. The crew arrived to find no smell inside. They used a five-gas monitor to test the atmosphere and nothing was found.

Medical aid: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie EMTs responded to 10 medical aid incidents bringing the total number of calls to date to 885.
