Several Snoqualmie Valley Youth Soccer Association teams

recently completed their fall campaigns on a high note, recording late-season

victories.

North Bend resident Curtis Tipton coached two of the teams. He

reports his U-9 squad, the Fireballs,

“finished strong, going 6-0-1 in their final

seven games to finish the season with a 7-2-1 record. Thank you, boys, for all

the good times and thank you, parents, for your support throughout the season.”

Coach Tipton had similar praise for his U-12 team, the Killer

Bees. “The Killer Bees completed league play with a 7-1 record,” he

commented. “The girls won 13 of their final 14 games on the way to posting

a 14-3-1 overall record. Thank you, girls, for all the fun we had, and,

parents, for your help and support.”

Another team of excellence during the fall series was the Bruisers,

a girl’s U-9 team that notched a perfect record. According to coach

Wayne Falcon, the eight members of the squad “learned a lot. The season

went really well; we had a good season. We had fun … had some close games

and had some blowouts.”

He added the team hoped to stay together during the off season,

including a possible trip to soccer camp.

“Hopefully all the girls will be able to go, the whole team,”

Falcon concluded. “Some of the girls might also play indoor soccer.”
