For the Mount Si Wildcats volleyball team, playing the Issaquah Eagles the last few years has been no easy task. With veteran talent such as Vanessa Perry and Casi Schwisow, Issaquah was the class of the league year in and year out. Perry and Schwisow now have moved on due to graduation, and in their place a young lineup has emerged with half a dozen freshmen.

With that in mind, last Wednesday set up to be a golden opportunity for the Wildcats to show their improvement as a team and defeat the once-strong Issaquah squad. It was not easy, but the Wildcats got it done in three games with scores of 25-21, 25-16 and 25-23.
