Twin Falls, CKMS JV girls swap wins

Chief Kanim Middle School hosted Twin Falls for two junior varsity girls basketball games on Tuesday, Nov. 15. In the first game, a tough Twin Falls Ravens team bested Chief Kanim, 29-6. However, the Hawks never gave up; Chief Kanim's Kori Cannon, Brynne Hollasch and Bella Richter had two points each. Richter also played strong defense, coaches said.

In the first game, a tough Twin Falls Ravens team bested Chief Kanim, 29-6.

However, the Hawks never gave up; Chief Kanim’s Kori Cannon, Brynne Hollasch and Bella Richter had two points each. Richter also played strong defense, coaches said.

In the second game, the score see-sawed back and forth the entire game. The Chief Kanim eighth grade girls held on to a narrow 16-15 lead and won the game. Scoring for the Hawks were Riley Ovall with seven points, Makayla Guse with six, Emma Mischke with two and Gabby Emigh with one point. Mary Kate Crittenden was very instrumental in the win, playing great defense and running the offense efficiently.
