Tokul Creek, from the Fish Hatchery Road Bridge in Fall City, to the fish intake boundary marker upstream, is now open for trout, hatchery steelhead and other gamefish.

The season started early, opening at 7 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17; it runs through 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 15.

Most years, this section of Tokul Creek is closed through Jan. 14, to allow for winter steelhead broodstock collection at the Tokul Creek Hatchery. This year, the hatchery has already met its egg intake goal for winter steelhead, allowing the fishery to open early.

Tokul Creek is closed to fishing daily from 5 p.m. to 7 a.m. Anti-snagging rules are in effect. All sections of Tokul Creek will close Feb. 16. For more information, contact the Department of Fish and Wildlife at its Mill Creek Regional Office (425) 775-1311.
