The Mount Si High School wrestling team had a good showing at the El Cajon invitational tournament in San Diego Dec. 16 and 17, with three wrestlers placing in the top eight in their respective weight classes.

In the 170-pound weight class Mason Marenco took fourth place. In the 138-pound weight class, Spencer Marenco took eighth place. Brennan Dalgleish took third in the 220-pound weight class.

As a team, Mount Si placed 15th out of 52 total teams.

Their next match is on Thursday, Jan. 5, against Bothell at Bothell High School.
