State tournament qualifiers
The 13-year-old Rainiers baseball team finished in first place in the Cascade League. They also won the Babe Ruth Cascade League Championship Tournament June 24-26 and placed second in the District 3 All-Stars 13-year-old division championship July 1-6 in Sammamish. These combined wins qualified them for the state tournament to be held in Moses Lake, July 12-17.
