Turner leads Lutes to win over Pacific

TACOMA, Wash. — Stephanie Turner had 14 kills and five service aces to lead Pacific Lutheran to a 30-12, 32-30, 30-17 victory over Pacific in a Northwest Conference match in Olson Auditorium.

The Lutes, now 13-9 overall and 10-5 in the conference, held the Boxers to a -.010 hitting percentage. Pacific (9-16, 2-13 NWC) had 24 total kills in the match, but also had 25 attack errors.

Hole in one

Evan Johnson of Sammamish made a hole-in-one at Mount Si golf course recently. The shot was made on the eighth hole at a distance of 160 yards using a six-iron.
