Snoqualmie Middle School recently awarded its athletic awards for girls’ soccer and boys’ basketball.

For varsity soccer, Kayla Jayne and Whitney Chelgren were named Most Valuable Player. Most Improved went to Tara Mitchell, and Most Inspirational was Maggie Kujath. Amy Trenkamp was presented with the Coaches’ Award.

Junior-varsity soccer recognition was given out to Rashell Kamienski for Most Valuable Player and Marissa Stewart for Most Improved. Ali Bilow earned Most Inspirational, and Sabrina Albertson was given the Coaches’ Award.

The eighth-grade varsity basketball awards were given to Zach Bowen for Defensive Player of the Year, Brandon Sales for Most Inspirational, Zach Elmore for Most Valuable Player, and Derek Donah received the Coaches’ Award.

The seventh-grade varsity basketball awards went to Kyle Clearman for Defensive Player of the Year, Jacob Wirth for Most Improved, Brad Knowles for Most Inspirational and Kevin Englund for Most Valuable Player.

The eighth-grade junior-varsity basketball awards were given to Alex Grazda for Most Valuable Player, Jimmy Gee for Most Improved and Casey Metzger for Most Inspirational.

Zach Soloman received the Most Valuable Player award for seventh-grade, junior-varsity basketball. Zach Tachell received Most Improved and Cameron Rogers won Most Inspirational.
