Marissa Hill, a freshman for Western Washington University’s womens volleyball team who graduated from Mount Si High School in June, made an immediate impact in her first four college matches last weekend in Florida.
The Snoqualmie Valley select soccer team Cascade Real U12 won the championship in the 2005 Big Foot tournament in Snohomish recently. The Cascade Select Fusion BU13 soccer team recently competed in the Snohomish Big foot Soccer Tournament winning five consecutive games on their way to a Gold Division tournament championship. They played teams from Whatcom County, Kirkland, Issaquah, Bainbridge Island, and Mt Rainier, outscoring their five opponents by a total of 17 goals for Fusion and only four against. The team is made up of players from Carnation, Duvall, Fall City, North Bend, and Snoqualmie. SNOQUALMIE – This season promises to be a much different one for the Mount Si Wildcats girls volleyball team. With the loss of two key seniors, Marissa Hill and Emily White, to graduation, the team has some major holes to fill.
