Mount Si softball team enters league tourney, plays Lake Washington today as No. 3 seed

A tough Juanita team fronted by pitcher Alli Rhodes handled the Mount Si varsity softball team Monday, May 9, 13-5. With Rhodes knocking out eight of 11 batters in the first three innings, only the Wildcats’ Nikki Carrol managed to get a hit in the second inning.

But things opened up in the fifth with six more hits, scoring five Wildcat runs.  That was the most of any team against Juanita this year.

At 10-7, Mount Si goes into the league tournament as the number three seed and will play Lake Washington today at 5:30 p.m., at home.
