The Wildcats fell to Eastlake, 291 to 217, at Mount Si Golf Course despite a pair of 54s from Julia Dorn and Danielle Burns, who led the way for Mount Si. Underscoring the tough competition, seven of eight Eastlake golfers had scores that were better than Dorn and Burns. The Eastlake efforts were led by a solid 39 from Dana Mydland.

Mount Si was missing its top player, Maggie Robinson, who is expected to be back this week. Katie Swain carded a 60, while Genna Magnan scored a 61 to pace the Wildcats, and rounding things out were Katy Lindor with a 62 and Hanne Puntervold with a 69.

The Wildcat girls fell to Redmond last Tuesday. Dorn shot a 56 to lead the Wildcats, but seven of the eight Mustang golfers had lower scores, helping Redmond hand Mount Si a 320-242 loss at Bear Creek Country Club. Kelly Kennewick took medalist honors with a 47 to lead the Mustangs. Burns fired a 60 to pace the Wildcats, while Magnan’s 64, Lindor’s 68, and a pair of 72’s from Swain and Puntervold rounded it out for Mount Si.

Mount Si hosts Sammamish Thursday, April 22, at Mount Si Golf Course.
