Mount Si High School’s cheer team has qualified to compete at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Florida in February.

To qualify, the team competed in a UCA Regional Qualifier event at Bellevue High School and earned two bids to nationals, by placing first in the Game Day category and third in Traditional Competition. This qualified the Mount Si team to compete in both divisions at nationals.

The championship will take place at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando Feb. 10 to 11, 2018. The finals of the event will be televised on ESPN and ESPN2.
