Lady ‘Cats split

The Mount Si freshman and JV teams squared off against their

counterparts from Skyline on Wednesday night, Jan. 26, and came away with

a split. The Lady ‘Cat frosh beat the Spartans in convincing fashion,

47-28. Unfortunately, the JV squad fell prey to Skyline’s excellent

three-point shooting and came out on the short end, 40-23.

Things picked up, however, Friday evening when the teams hosted

their opposite numbers from Interlake. The “C” team inflicted a major blowout

on the Saints, winning 38-5, while the JVs pulled out a 29-23 victory.

Wildcat men clobber Saints

The Mount Si JV and “C” teams handled Interlake in convincing

fashion Friday night, Jan. 28, winning both games.

The C-Cats won their matchup by a score of 68-56. Chris Boring led

the charge with 22 points, followed by Chris Lyle with 12 and D.J.

Pennewell with 10. Sophomore Nick Harpel contributed eight points in the

winning effort.

In the JV game Mount Si clobbered the Saints, 80-44. There were

a number of superlative performances, led by Sean Fallows’ 26 points and

11 rebounds. Logan Ratcliffe and Jacob Waggoner also took part in the

drubbing, scoring 16 and 10 points respectively, while Brian Gabriel and

Scott Johnson dumped in nine points each.
