Lady Wildcat frosh, JVs have tough week

In their last meets before the holiday break, the Mount Si girls’

freshman and JV programs ran into the same schools _ and problems _ as

their varsity counterparts. Monday night at Enumclaw, the Wildcat frosh

dropped a close one 40-36, while the JVs were roundly walloped by a score of 63-28.

Tuesday evening at home the sequence was repeated, although

fortunately the scores were a tad closer. In the JV game, the Lady `Cats fell

to the Bulldogs by six points, losing 37-33. The C-team also kept it tight

before succumbing 48-41.

Both squads have now adjourned for the holidays and will return to

the hardwood on Wednesday, Jan. 5, with away games at Interlake High

School. They’ll host the Red Wolves of Cedarcrest on Friday, Jan. 7.
