The eighth grade Snoqualmie Middle School volleyball team fell in its first match against Tolt, Saturday, Sept. 20.
The contest was hard fought with some stellar use of knee pads in the first game by Jenn Rogers and Zoe Virta. In the second match, Tolt came from behind to win the game, 16-21. The Eagles did get a taste of victory in last game due to a stellar offensive effort led by team captain, Liz Larson.
Following suit, the seventh grade also had a hard time against Tolt. The Eagles did manage to win one game in the Match and fought a hard in the last game with a loss by only two points. Hailey Holmburg was all over the court during the second match in an effort to rebound against Tolt and had a four point run in game two. Aggressive defense during game two by Telsey Wright helped the Eagles to victory in the battle. But the war was lost.
Cheer both the teams on at home on Thursday, Sept. 30.
