Fallows heads to District 2 State Championships

Mount Si standout, Sean Fallows, took first place at the Washington

Junior Golf Association Sub-District Qualifier at Tall Chief Golf Course

last week. Shooting a two under par score of 68, Fallows qualified to

participate in the District 2 State Championships to take place on July 13 and 14 at

Bear Creek Country Club. Fallows is a member of the Mount Si Wildcat

Golf Team that placed third in state this spring.

Sisters rank high in skating competition

Cortney Schuller, 16, and 12-year-old Margot Schuller of

Carnation brought home several medals from the roller skating Northwest

Regional Championships held in Portland last month.

Cortney Schuller, a senior at Mount Si High, placed first in the

Junior Olympic level 2B figures competition and second in the solo dance.

Margot Schuller, a seventh-grader at Chief Kanim Middle School,

received second-place medals in the Junior Olympic level 1C in the solo

dance and figures competition.

Both skaters are headed to the state competition, which will be held

in Lincoln, Neb. in August.

Teen makes

hole-in-one

Ryan Mahoney, age 16, made a hole-in-one at Mount Si Golf

Course on June 29. On the 160-yard eighth hole, Mahoney used a 7-iron.
