Bird Battle Champs

The Snoqualmie Middle School eighth-grade girls' varsity basketball team ended a successful two-year run recently, beating rival Chief Kanim 31-8. It was a fitting end to a season that saw the girls tie with two other teams for the league title with an 8-2 record. In their two years as Eagles, the team compiled an overall record of 15-4, losing three of those games by a total of four points. Coach Talmadge was very appreciative of the girls and their parents for an unforgettable two seasons. In particular, dads Mike Sellers and Troy Thompson were helpful and supportive. Look for many of these athletes to contribute to the Mount Si program in the coming years.
