Proposition 1, on the Feb. 6 ballot for Fire District 38 is a critical decision for our Valley. The very safety of our homes and families are at stake. Proposition 1 will preserve our professional partnership with Eastside Fire and Rescue and continue our high levels of service for fire and medical emergency responses.

Although we live in the forest and are very susceptible to fire – our greatest concern is the degradation of emergency medical response (especially when two or more emergencies occur at the same time), which will be the natural consequence if Proposition 1 does not pass.
