I would like to personally thank some special people for their
efforts to raise money for our toy drive this year. We held a dance at Chief
Kanim Middle School on Dec. 1 and raised over $1,000. Then on Dec. 15, we
held a dance at Mount Si High School and raised nearly $800. This money
allowed us to purchase gifts for children in the age groups that had not
been provided for by gift donations.
The music and entertainment were provided for free by the Wildcat
Production Club from Mount Si. Snoqualmie police officers Chris
Todd and Rich Bundschuh donated their time by supervising our dance
at Mount Si, and brought in a big box of toys! The Key Club Toy Drive
Dance leaders Andrew Ward and Zach Gore did an outstanding job of
organizing the events.
The Fall City Family Grocer, the Wards and the North Bend QFC
donated the pop and ice for the events. And a special thanks to our
chaperones: Loise, Anne, PJ, Hal, Steven, Sherry, Nancy, Keith, Kathy,
Lorinda, Agata, Doug, Greg, Nancy, Kim and others.
