The Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Urgent Care saved my son’s life. At last I feel we have emergency care at our hospital that we can feel safe with.

My son Michael Stallman, also known as “Sparky” of the Jingles and Sparky Party Clowns, became very ill on the afternoon of May 16. I took him to the hospital where Dr. Ira Grove and his staff took over immediately. In a half hour they had him on his way to Overlake Hospital. The staff at Overlake told me that had not Dr. Grove and staff been so on top of it, Mike would have died.

I have used the Urgent Care several times over the past six months for myself and my mother, Josephine Eaton, who lives with me. She is 87 years old and recently had a serious illness. She thinks the staff and doctors are very kind and know what they are doing.

My dad, Melvin Eaton, passed away at the hospital just after it opened in 1983. We were so pleased that we had such a well-equipped hospital so close to our home. We have watched with great sadness over the years as our beautiful and very much needed hospital has been run into the ground by people who were not caring about the community and full of greed for themselves.

Anyone who knows me knows how much love and care our family has given to Michael to keep him healthy. I am very much on top of his medical needs and would not let just anyone treat him. I feel very confident about the staff at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital Urgent Care. Not only are they good at their jobs, but are very kind and can give you a smile and a hug that will stay with you all day.

Come on community, let’s get behind these people. They are good and because of them, you will be enjoying Mike’s “around-town smile” for a long time.
