Thanks Valley for a great Bite

Letter to the Editor.

As co-chair of the Bite of the Valley, I would like to express thanks from the Snoqualmie Valley Chamber of Commerce to the participating vendors, the volunteers and the people in attendance, all of whom had a fun time.

The businesses who participated were: Costco, Denny’s, George’s Bakery, Gordy’s Steak and BBQ Smokehouse, Huxdotter Coffee, Mount Si Golf Course, QFC, The Reef, Safeway, Sahara’s Pizza, Salish Lodge and Snoqualmie Falls Candy Factory – their generosity is greatly appreciated!

To the 38 wonderful volunteers who helped out and who came through when some people had to drop out at the last minute – you guys are awesome! Thanks for doing all that hard work! Thanks also to the banks who sold raffle tickets: Bank of America (both the North Bend and Snoqualmie branches), Issaquah Bank, Sterling Savings, Sno-Falls Credit Union, Key Bank and Washington Mutual.

And lastly, to the several hundred people of the general public and chamber members who attended, thanks for coming and for purchasing raffle tickets. I think it’s pretty safe to say everyone had a great time.

Anyone wishing to plan for next year’s Bite is welcome to join in the fun by contacting Lisa Schaffer, chamber director, at (425) 888-4440. See you next year!
