Support Fall City subarea plan as-is

Letter to the Editor.

I know there are folks who still doubt the wisdom of the

(seemingly) constrictive recommendations made by the Community Advisory

Committee for the Fall City Subarea Planning process. I took a long ride

recently through many King County areas. I looked at several developments, sat

in traffic, talked to some of the folks living in or near developments. My

suggestions to folks who think the CAC recommendations are too strong

… take a ride around King County. Look at the “big picture.” It’s very

frightening to think what Fall City could become within a very short time. Is

that what we want? More pavement? More traffic on our quiet side roads?

Why do most of us live here? Isn’t it for the open spaces? The view corridors?

The dark skies at night? Help us preserve the “jewel” of King County …

support the CAC recommendations as they stand.
