Strike support ‘heartwarming’

The membership and I wish to thank the Valley Record for your excellent and accurate reporting [April 26] on our strike actions in April-May. We appreciate the time and effort you put into getting the story right. Your readers are fortunate to have news coverage upon which they can depend to be honest, straightforward and factual.

We also wish to thank all the people who honked, wishing our picketers well, the many unknown persons who donated food and the Snoqualmie Ridge employees (Don Viehmann, Jell Jelden and Lisa Zahnle), who provided picketers with free lattes and mochas.

The support from the local community has been heartwarming. It is great to see and hear from all those out there who stand for justice and fairness to working people.
