Somerset Glass thanks community for support

Letter to the Editor

It is with great appreciation to the Snoqualmie Valley community that we say thank you.

Our family business was started in North Bend in 1995. We began by offering automotive and heavy equipment glass services to the Valley. Since then, we have included residential and commercial windows and doors to our business.

Having a tremendous opportunity in Cle Elum, we have decided to consolidate our operations to that area, covering most of Central Washington.

We have thoroughly enjoyed participating in community organizations and events that are so very important to the Snoqualmie Valley area. It was always fun to be greeted by smiling faces and participate with the business owners who are so involved and intent on making Valley businesses thrive. With that being said, we strongly urge the community leadership to move forward with lifting the building moratorium. Opportunities are being lost. Costs in the area are rising to levels that challenge small businesses. It is time.

We must also acknowledge and thank the wonderful employees we were fortunate to work with throughout the years. They were always incredibly dedicated, and we thank each one for their time and energy with helping to establish and grow our business.

We wish everyone the very best. We will miss you all!
