Sunday, Aug. 22, our family had the best reunion ever at Si View Park and pool. For my sister Georgia Kramer and I, the facility is priceless to us because we worked there over 30 years. This was like coming home. In fact, some of the 87 members of our family said that several times. We had a wonderful time and want to thank you for coming by to take pictures and for Lauren getting our story and spending some time with us.

The fact that our parents, Herb and Daisy Miller, were married 50 years until our dad’s early death at 68 four months later is something for us to celebrate and remember. But more so, five of their eight children have to date been married, respectfully, 53 years; two at 55 years; 56 years and one at 60 years as of Oct. 21 of this year. Add to that the fact that some of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren have been married more than 30 years.

Most important, we have always been a very close and loving family, which made our reunion all the more precious to all of us. Si View is the perfect place for a reunion or large party of any kind. We are so lucky to have it in our home town. We shall use it every year or as often as we can.
