On behalf of the 1999/2000 Reflections Committee at North

Bend Elementary School, I would like to thank the following people for

making our first year of participation a success.

Katy Sansburn is the parent who was instrumental in bringing this

program to NBE. Katy worked with the school principal to get this

program off the ground. She organized a committee, ran meetings, put

together school assemblies for promotion, sponsored recess times to help

children do their projects, put together a judging panel and basically

oversaw everything. Thank you, Katy, for your energy, enthusiasm and tireless

commitment to this program.

I would also like to thank the judges who gave freely of their

time and took their jobs very seriously. Katherine Hayden and Peggy

Rita judged in the visual arts category, Kerry Crowley and Laura

Edvalson judged music, Kathy Goble and Laurie Vanderboom judged literature and

Jim McKiernan and Robin Sims-Brown judged photography.
