No connection between Iraq and 9-11

Letter to the Editor

After the first debate, it is absolutely clear that John Kerry is presidential material. He clearly won the debate and only the most closed of minds could conclude that Bush, with his scowling, angry face, misuse of the English language and repetitious sound bites, did better. It was obvious that he could not tolerate someone thinking differently and was rattled by it.

Bush has operated on the principle that if he tells a lie often enough, people will believe it. Fact: there is no connection between Iraq and 9-11. But Bush has over and over again connected the two as if there were.

During the debate, Kerry did not let him get away with misleading about this.
