We would like to thank our neighbors in Riverbend for all of their support and help in finding our missing dog during our recent vacation to Wisconsin.

While we were gone we received a call from our neighbors, Ray and Debbie Spokely, who were caring for our dog. They said she had gotten out of the yard. During the 22 hours she was missing, the Spokelys posted signs in and around Riverbend alerting the community that she was missing, along with recruiting neighbors to drive and walk the streets looking for our dog.

While we felt helpless so far from home, we felt everything was being done to find and return our dog home safely. Our dog did return home the next day and again the Spokelys called us immediately to let us know the she had returned home and was fine.

I have come to a new appreciation of the people who live in Riverbend for their care and support and want to thank all of the volunteers involved.
